Bat Lake by Eliza Cooper is a dance work celebrating the darkish, theatrical world of bats. From pollination to echolocation, the work exposes their nocturnal escapades often hidden within the shadows. Bat Lake transforms the efficiency area as elegant beasts glide swiftly throughout a twilight stage. BODY AND ENVIRONMENT
DIRECTED BY ROB McCREDIE

Set inside a novel reworking set set up, Physique and Setting options the FLING firm, made up of 11 younger performers from the Bega Valley aged 14-18.

A suspended internet of 64 interconnected shirts is manipulated by the performers to create a sequence of areas; from architectural buildings to pure environments, private and non-private areas, to the unconscious inner landscapes of the thoughts. Following the cancelled 2020 touring of the work on account of COVID, the work has been developed into a movie model.
