CHVRCHES vocalist Lauren Mayberry has introduced her first ever solo tour. It’s going to see her trek throughout North America, the UK, and Europe.
The tour kicks off in Washington, DC on September 4th and can make stops in Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, and extra earlier than wrapping the North American leg in Los Angeles on September twenty ninth. Then, Mayberry will head throughout the pond for a present in her native Glasgow and dates in Birmingham, Manchester, and London earlier than traversing throughout Europe. In a social media statement, Mayberry seemed again on the tenth anniversary of CHVRCHES’ debut album, The Bones of What You Consider, and in addition teased her upcoming solo music. “I met Iain [Cook] and Martin [Doherty] once I was 23 — somewhat child of an individual, in hindsight. Wanting again on what we’ve achieved collectively, a lot of it doesn’t really feel actual and even potential,” she wrote. “Thanks to each one who has been part of that.”
Mayberry continued, “For now, although, I’m excited / terrified / bewildered to let you know that I’ve been engaged on my first ever solo music and can have the ability to begin sharing it quickly.”
