The Authentic Self-Titled Prince Demo Tape is Up For Public sale

The demo that landed late musician Prince his first recording contract is up for public sale. Boston-based public sale home RR Public sale is promoting Prince’s eponymous demo, which was recorded in 1976, calling it a “beautiful revelation for music fanatics and Prince followers worldwide.”

At simply 18 years outdated, Prince Rogers Nelson organized, sang, and performed devices on demo tracks like “Simply As Lengthy as We’re Collectively,” “My Love is Without end” (later featured on his 1978 debut album For You), and the unreleased “Jelly Jam.” Obtained by the property of late Warner Bros. govt Russ Thyret, RR Public sale says that the demo “serves as a testomony to the visionary expertise of the enigmatic musician and marks the inception of one of the crucial legendary careers in in style music.”
